Car
To reach Willamette National Forest from anywhere in Jefferson County, start by getting on US-97 S. Follow US-97 S for approximately 25 miles. Take the exit for OR-58 E toward Eugene. Continue on OR-58 E for about 30 miles, passing through the beautiful Cascade mountains. Once you reach the town of Oakridge, continue on OR-58 E. After about 15 miles, you will see signs for Willamette National Forest. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance at Blue River, OR 97413.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Cascades East Transit from Jefferson County to Bend. From Bend, you can catch a bus to Eugene. After arriving in Eugene, you will need to transfer to Lane Transit District (LTD) Route 91, which heads toward Oakridge. Once in Oakridge, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Willamette National Forest, as public transportation does not go directly to the forest. Be sure to check the schedules for the transit services as they may vary.
