Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Klamath Falls, take US-97 N for about 36 miles. Then, turn onto OR-62 E toward Crater Lake. Continue on OR-62 E for approximately 30 miles until you reach the intersection with Crater Lake National Park's entrance. Pay the entrance fee (currently $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days). After entering the park, follow the signs to Mazama Village. The campground is located at 569 Mazama Village Dr, Crater Lake, OR 97604, which is about 6 miles from the park entrance.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in this area, but you can take a Greyhound bus or a similar service to Klamath Falls. From Klamath Falls, you will need to arrange a shuttle service or taxi to reach Crater Lake National Park. Check with local services for availability and prices, as they can vary significantly. Once at the park, follow the signage to Mazama Village Campground & Cabins, which is about 6 miles from the entrance.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling from Klamath Falls to Crater Lake is an option. The route is approximately 66 miles and involves a significant elevation gain. Follow US-97 N to OR-62 E as described above. Ensure you are well-prepared with water, snacks, and a repair kit, as the route can be challenging, and there are limited services along the way.
