Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Lake County and head northwest on OR-31 N. Continue on OR-31 N until you reach US-20 W. Merge onto US-20 W and continue for approximately 40 miles. Take the exit onto I-5 N and follow signs to Portland. Once in Portland, take the exit for I-84 E towards The Dalles. After about 20 miles, take exit 18 for Corbett and turn left onto NE 2nd St. Continue straight onto Wahkeena Trail #420, where you will find the parking area for Wahkeena Falls. Note that there may be a fee for parking, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Lake County to Portland. Once you arrive in Portland, you can take the MAX Light Rail to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which directly serves the Columbia River Gorge area, including Wahkeena Falls. Make sure to check the Columbia Gorge Express schedule in advance for available times. The bus will drop you off close to the trailhead, from which you can walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach Wahkeena Falls. Tickets for the Columbia Gorge Express may cost around $5-$10.
