Car
If you are driving from Medford, take I-5 South towards Ashland. After about 18 miles, take exit 14 for OR-99 South towards Ashland. Follow OR-99 South for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with OR-66. Take OR-66 East for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with Lake of the Woods Highway. Turn left onto Lake of the Woods Highway and continue for about 10 miles. Finally, follow signs directing you to Pinnacles Overlook. There is no entrance fee for the overlook.
Public Transportation
From Medford, take the Rogue Valley Transit District (RVTD) bus route to Ashland. Once in Ashland, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Pinnacles Overlook, as public transport options are limited in this rural area. The taxi ride will cost approximately $30-$50 depending on traffic and exact pickup location. Note that scheduling in advance is recommended for rideshare services.
Biking
For adventurous travelers, biking is an option. Start in Ashland and take OR-99 South to OR-66 East. The total distance is about 30 miles and is recommended for experienced cyclists due to some elevation and traffic.
