When you reach the entrance to Crater Lake National Park, pay the entrance fee (currently $30 per vehicle) which is valid for 7 days. Continue driving until you reach the Rim Drive. Follow Rim Drive until you see the signs for Plaikni Falls. Park in the designated area and begin your hike to the falls.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take the Rogue Valley Transit District bus from Medford to Klamath Falls, but note that this route does not directly serve Crater Lake. To get closer to Plaikni Falls, take the bus to the nearest point and then consider renting a car or arranging a taxi service for the remaining distance. Alternatively, check for seasonal shuttle services that may operate between Klamath Falls and Crater Lake National Park.
