Car
From the Smith Rock State Park parking area, head south on the Smith Rock Access Road. Continue straight for approximately 2 miles until you reach US-97. Turn left (south) onto US-97 and follow it for about 5 miles. Take the exit for Bend/US-20 E and continue on US-20 E for about 4 miles. Take the exit toward Century Drive and turn right onto Century Drive. Follow this road for approximately 6 miles until you see the signs for Boyd Cave on your left. There is a small parking area near the cave entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
If you're traveling by public transportation, you can take the Cascades East Transit bus from Bend to reach the vicinity of Boyd Cave. First, take the bus from downtown Bend to the stop at the intersection of US-97 and Century Drive. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along Century Drive to reach the Boyd Cave entrance. Be aware that public transport may not run frequently, so check the schedule ahead of time to ensure you have a return trip.
