If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Klamath Falls, OR. Head east on US-97 N for approximately 14 miles. You will then take the exit towards OR-140 W. Continue on OR-140 W for about 25 miles until you reach the junction with County Road 600 (Sky Lakes Road). Turn left onto Sky Lakes Road and follow it for about 6 miles until you reach the Sky Lakes Wilderness trailhead parking area. There is no parking fee, and the area is open year-round.

From the bus station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Sky Lakes Wilderness area. This may cost around $30-50 depending on the distance and service provider.
