Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Joseph, Oregon. Head southeast on E Grant St toward S Main St. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto S Main St. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with OR-82. Take a right onto OR-82 S and drive for approximately 4 miles. Turn left onto Tucker Down Rd and follow the road for about 2 miles. The Ferguson Ridge Ski Area will be on your right. Make sure to check the weather and road conditions in winter, as some roads may be closed due to snow.
Public Transportation + Car
If you are using public transportation, take the Greyhound or a local shuttle service to Joseph, Oregon. Once you arrive in Joseph, you will need to use a ride-sharing service or rent a car to reach Ferguson Ridge Ski Area. From the town center, follow the same directions as outlined for car travel: head southeast on E Grant St, left onto S Main St, right onto OR-82 S, and finally left onto Tucker Down Rd. The ski area will be on your right after about 2 miles.
Bicycle
For those who are adventurous and prefer biking, you can cycle from Joseph to Ferguson Ridge Ski Area. Start in Joseph and head southeast on E Grant St, continue onto S Main St, then take a right onto OR-82 S. Be cautious as this is a highway with vehicle traffic. After about 4 miles, turn left onto Tucker Down Rd. The ski area is roughly 2 miles down this road on your right. Ensure your bike is equipped for the terrain and check the weather forecast before setting out.
