    If you're starting from Joseph, Oregon, take OR-82 E towards Enterprise. Continue on OR-82 for about 16 miles. Once you reach Enterprise, turn left onto Wallowa Lake Highway (OR-351) and follow it until you reach the junction with Forest Road 39. Turn right onto Forest Road 39, and continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with NF-490. Turn left onto NF-490 and drive for about 7 miles. The Hells Canyon Overlook will be on your right. Keep an eye out for signs; the overlook is a popular spot.
