Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards The Dalles, Oregon. From I-84, take exit 87 for The Dalles. Follow the signs to US-197 N. After a short distance, turn left onto E 2nd St. Continue on E 2nd St until you reach the intersection with W 6th St. Turn right on W 6th St, and then take a left onto the Columbia River Highway. Follow this road until you see the signs for Seufert Park. The park entrance will be on your left.

  For those using public transportation, start by taking the Columbia Gorge Express bus service from Portland to The Dalles. Upon arrival at The Dalles, you can catch a local bus service (Eastern Oregon Public Transit) that stops near Seufert Park. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited. After getting off the bus, walk towards the Columbia River and follow the path leading to the park entrance.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can bike to Seufert Park from The Dalles. Use the bike lanes along W 6th St and the Columbia River Highway. It's a scenic route along the river, but be aware of the traffic and ensure you wear a helmet. There are bike racks available at the park for you to secure your bicycle.

  For those staying in the nearby area, walking to Seufert Park is a great option. If you are in downtown The Dalles, head west on E 2nd St until you reach the Columbia River Highway. Turn left and follow the highway for about 1 mile until you reach the park entrance. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Columbia River along the way.
