Car

If you are driving to Sorosis Park, start from the center of The Dalles. Head east on E 2nd St toward Union St. Turn left onto Union St and then turn right onto E Scenic Dr. Continue on E Scenic Dr for about 1 mile. Sorosis Park will be on your left at 300 E Scenic Dr, The Dalles, OR 97058. There is free parking available at the park.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take the Columbia Area Transit bus service which operates in The Dalles. Check the bus schedules as they may vary. You would need to get off at the nearest stop to E Scenic Dr. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the park. Head east on E 2nd St, turn left onto Union St, and then right onto E Scenic Dr. Sorosis Park will be on your left. Note that there may be a small fee for the bus ride, typically around $1.00-$2.00.

Bicycle

For those who prefer cycling, you can bike to Sorosis Park. Starting from downtown The Dalles, take E 2nd St heading east, then turn left onto Union St. After that, turn right onto E Scenic Dr. The park is approximately 1 mile away and has bike racks available for parking. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.

Walking

If you are close enough to walk, head east from downtown The Dalles. Start on E 2nd St, turn left onto Union St, and then right onto E Scenic Dr. Walk approximately 1 mile, and you will find Sorosis Park on your left at 300 E Scenic Dr, The Dalles, OR 97058. The walk takes about 20-25 minutes.
