Car
If you're driving from The Dalles, take the US-197 S. Merge onto the I-84 W and then take exit 104 for US-197 S toward Maupin. Continue on US-197 S for approximately 30 miles. Turn right onto White River Rd and follow the signs to White River Falls State Park. The park entrance will be on your left after about 5 miles. There is no entrance fee to the park.
Car
From Hood River, take the OR-35 S to connect with the I-84 E. Take exit 104 for US-197 S toward Maupin, then follow US-197 S for about 30 miles. Turn right onto White River Rd and continue for about 5 miles to reach the park entrance on your left.
Public Transportation
There are limited public transportation options directly to White River Falls State Park. You can take a bus from The Dalles to Maupin (check local schedules for availability). Once in Maupin, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to the park, which is about 10 miles away.
