If you're starting from the town of Mitchell, Oregon, head northeast on Main St toward OR-207 N. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the junction with OR-207. Turn left onto OR-207 N and continue for approximately 4 miles. You will see signs for the Priest Hole Recreation Site. Turn right onto the access road to reach the site, which is located along the John Day River. Note that the road may be gravel, so drive carefully.
