Start at the main bus terminal in Abbottabad. From the terminal, head east on Mansehra Road (also known as the main road). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Murree Road. Take a left onto Murree Road and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the large sign for the Abbottabad Water Tank, which will be on your right side. Turn right at the sign and walk approximately 200 meters to reach the entrance of the Abbottabad Water Tank. The area is well-marked and should be easy to find.

From your current location in Abbottabad, look for a rickshaw stand nearby. Inform the rickshaw driver that you want to go to the Abbottabad Water Tank. The driver will take you via the main routes. You can expect the ride to take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance of the Abbottabad Water Tank, which is located on Murree Road. Make sure to confirm your destination with the driver to ensure you reach the correct location.

If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the main market area of Abbottabad. Begin at the main square and head towards Mansehra Road. Once you reach Mansehra Road, turn left and continue cycling until you reach the intersection with Murree Road. Turn left again onto Murree Road and cycle for about 1 kilometer.
