Car
If you're starting from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, head northwest on the Neelum Valley Road (N-1) towards Leepa. After approximately 45 km, you'll reach the town of Dowarian. Here, you can park your vehicle at designated parking areas. Note that the road conditions may vary, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for the final stretch.

Public Transportation
From Muzaffarabad, take a bus or shared van heading towards Leepa. Ask the driver to drop you off at Dowarian. The fare is usually around PKR 400-600. From Dowarian, you can either hire a local jeep or arrange for a guide who can take you to Ratti Gali Lake, as the lake is approximately a 2-3 hour jeep ride away on rough terrain. Expect to pay around PKR 3000-5000 for the jeep ride.

For the adventurous, if you are physically fit and would like to hike, you can trek from Dowarian to Ratti Gali Lake. The trek is about 14 km and can take 4-6 hours depending on your pace.
