Walking
Start at the Chitral Main Bazaar, which is a central point in Chitral. From the bazaar, head north towards Fort Road (locally known as Qila Road). The walk should take about 10-15 minutes. As you walk, look for the local shops and eateries, which are great for experiencing local culture. Once you reach Fort Road, turn left and continue walking. You will pass several small houses and gardens. After about 5 minutes, you will see Chitral Fort straight ahead. The fort is situated prominently on a hill, making it a visible landmark.
Rickshaw
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a local rickshaw from anywhere in Chitral. Simply tell the driver 'Chitral Fort' or point towards Fort Road. The fare should be around 100-200 PKR.
