Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Chitral, head towards the Chitral Museum, located on the main road. Once you reach the museum, continue walking along the road heading northeast for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection near the Chitral River. At this intersection, you will see a sign pointing towards 'Chitral Gol National Park.' Take the path that goes along the riverbank. Follow this path for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass by several local houses and farms. Keep an eye out for local guides who might offer assistance. Eventually, you will come across the entrance to Chitral Gol National Park, marked with a sign.

• Bicycle

  If you can rent a bicycle in Chitral, start from the main bazaar area. Cycle towards the Chitral Museum, then continue on the main road heading northeast. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach an intersection near the Chitral River. Look for the sign directing you to 'Chitral Gol National Park' and take the bike path next to the river. The ride is approximately 5 kilometers along the river, which offers beautiful views. Make sure to stop and enjoy the scenery along the way. As you get closer, you will find the entrance to the National Park.

• Horse Riding

  For an authentic experience, you might consider hiring a horse. You can find horse rental services near the Chitral Museum. Once you rent a horse, follow the same route as walking: head northeast from the museum for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection by the Chitral River. Look for the direction sign to 'Chitral Gol National Park.' The horse trail along the riverbank is approximately 5 kilometers long and offers a unique perspective of the landscape. Your horse guide will help you navigate and reach the park entrance.
