Getting there

Walk

Start from Chitral town center and head towards the main bazaar. From the bazaar, follow the main road (Chitral-Kalash Road) that leads northwest. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction at the base of the valley. Public Transport (Minibus)

Once you reach the junction at the base of the valley, look for a local minibus heading towards Kalash Valley. These minibuses frequently depart from the junction and are a popular means of transportation. The fare is typically low, and the journey should take about 1-1.5 hours. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Kalash Valley, and they will drop you off at the nearest point.

Walk

After getting off the minibus, you will be in the lower part of Kalash Valley. From here, you may need to walk to your specific destination within the valley. Follow the footpaths that wind through the villages of Batrik and Rumbur, taking in the stunning scenery.
