Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Deosai National Park, start from the Sheosar Lake viewpoint, which is a central point in the park. Head south on the main park road, following the signs toward Skardu. After approximately 22 kilometers, you will reach the junction leading to Hussainabad. Turn right at the junction and continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach Hussainabad. From Hussainabad, Marsur Rock is located about 3 kilometers east of the main road. Look for a small dirt trail leading towards the rock. Be cautious as the road can be bumpy, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this route.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus or shared taxi from Skardu city to Hussainabad. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around 200-300 PKR per person. Once you arrive in Hussainabad, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to Marsur Rock, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the main road. Ensure to ask locals for directions, as they can provide the best routes and any additional guidance you may need.

• Walking

  For those already in Hussainabad, you can reach Marsur Rock by walking. Starting from the main road in Hussainabad, head east and look for the dirt trail leading towards the rock. The walk should take about 30 minutes, and it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and be sure to take breaks as needed.
