If you are driving from the center of Gandhara, head northwest on the main road towards Malakand. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you see signs for the Balokalay Stupa. Upon reaching the area, look for the J5JH+9VM coordinates on your GPS. There's parking available near the site, but make sure to be cautious of local traffic regulations.

Public Transportation
From Gandhara, take a local bus or shared van heading towards Malakand. Buses leave frequently from the central bus station. The fare is usually around 100 PKR (Pakistani Rupees). Inform the driver of your destination (Balokalay Stupa) so they can drop you off at the nearest stop. After disembarking, you may need to walk approximately 1 km towards the stupa, following the directions of local residents or using a mobile map application.

If you're already in the vicinity of Malakand, you can walk to the Balokalay Stupa. From the nearest bus stop, head north on the main road. After about 1 km, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left path which leads directly to the stupa. The walk is scenic and will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
