Walking
If you are starting from Faisal Mosque, head north on the main road, and follow the signs towards Margalla Hills. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to the Margalla Hills National Park. From there, you can take the hiking trail that leads up towards the Islamabad View Point. The hike will take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views along the way.

Public Transport (Bus/Van)
From the Aabpara Market, you can catch a local van heading towards Pir Sohawa. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Margalla Hills View Point. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pir Sohawa stop, you will see a walking path leading to the viewpoint. Follow this path, which will take approximately 20-30 minutes to walk up.

Open your ride-hailing app and set your destination to Margalla Hills Islamabad View Point. The driver will take you to the entrance of the park, located on Pir Sohawa Road. From there, you can either walk the remaining distance to the viewpoint or ask the driver to drop you off closer to the trailhead if they are allowed to go that far. The hike from the nearest drop-off point will take around 30 minutes.
