Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Naran, which is a popular base in Kaghan Valley. Drive towards the Babusar Pass Road (N-15) and continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the town of Balakot. From Balakot, take the Kawai Road towards Allai. After about an hour's drive, you will enter the Allai valley. Continue driving on the Allai Road until you see signs for Sharan Waterfall. It's about a 20-minute drive from the main road to the waterfall's parking area. Make sure to check the road conditions as they can vary depending on the weather.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus or a shared van from Naran to Balakot. This will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Balakot, look for a local jeep or taxi that can take you to Allai. The jeep ride will take another hour or so, and you should communicate your desire to visit Sharan Waterfall to the driver. It’s advisable to agree on the fare beforehand, which may vary from PKR 1000 to PKR 1500 depending on the distance and negotiation.

Hiking
