From the center of Kaghan, head towards Naran on the main road. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach the village of Balakot. Take a right turn towards the Saif-ul-Malook Lake road. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you arrive at Saif-ul-Malook Lake. This is a popular starting point for trekking to Ansu Lake. From Saif-ul-Malook Lake, follow the marked trekking path leading to Ansu Lake. The trek is approximately 7 kilometers and can take 3-4 hours depending on your pace. The trail is steep and rocky, so make sure to wear appropriate trekking shoes and carry plenty of water.
