From Kaghan, take a local bus or shared van heading towards Balakot. Buses usually depart from the main bus station in Kaghan. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Ensure you inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Shogran turn-off.
Jeep
Once you reach the turn-off for Shogran (approximately 20 km from Balakot), you will need to hire a local jeep, as the road is not suitable for regular vehicles. There are typically jeeps waiting at the turn-off. The ride to Shogran will take about 30-45 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, after getting off the bus at the Shogran turn-off, you can walk along the well-marked trail leading up to Shogran. The hike is roughly 5 km and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, offering beautiful views along the way.
