Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Lahore Fort, exit the fort and head south towards the main road, Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam (also known as Mall Road). Turn left onto Mall Road and continue walking for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Sadar Road. Here, turn right onto Sadar Road and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will enter the Walled City of Lahore area, where you will see the Alamgiri Gate on your left side.

    If you're at Anarkali Bazaar, find a rickshaw stand and tell the driver to take you to Alamgiri Gate. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off near the gate, and you can walk a short distance to reach the entrance.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Lahore Railway Station, take a bus heading towards the Walled City. Buses are frequent and should take about 30 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to the Walled City and ask locals for directions to Alamgiri Gate, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
