The road is generally in good condition, but be cautious of any potential roadblocks or construction. Parking is available near the entrance.

From Mingora, you can take a local bus or minibus heading towards Dargai or Malakand. Buses regularly depart from the Mingora bus terminal. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Malakand Pass, which is about 30 km from Mingora. The fare is generally around PKR 100-150. Once you arrive at the Malakand Pass, you can either walk to the tunnel (approximately 2 km) or hire a local taxi for a short ride.
