Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Multan Railway Station, exit the station and head south on Railway Road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Shah Rukn-e-Alam Road. Turn left onto Shah Rukn-e-Alam Road and walk for approximately 2 km. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep walking straight until you reach the busy junction with Hussain Agahai Bazar. Turn right onto Hussain Agahai Bazar and continue walking for about 500 meters. Fort Qasim will be on your left, located near Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh.

  • Rickshaw

    From any location in Multan, you can hire a rickshaw by simply waving one down on the street or using a ride-hailing app if available. Tell the driver to take you to Fort Qasim or Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh. The ride will typically take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 200-300 PKR for the fare. The driver can drop you off right at the entrance of Fort Qasim.

    To reach Fort Qasim using public transport, locate a nearby bus stop that services routes towards Qila Kuhna Qasim Bagh. Board a bus that is headed to Hussain Agahai Bazar. The fare is usually very affordable, around 20-30 PKR. After about 30 minutes of travel, disembark at the Hussain Agahai Bazar stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters down Hussain Agahai Bazar street, and you will find Fort Qasim on your left.
