Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey from the main Mall Road in Murree. Head towards the Pindi Point, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Mall Road. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the hills and nearby attractions. Once you reach Pindi Point, look for a trail leading uphill towards Mount Nyle. The trail is well-marked and will take you deeper into the forested area. Follow the path for approximately 1.5 to 2 kilometers until you reach a viewpoint that offers a stunning view of the surrounding hills. From this viewpoint, Mount Nyle is located further up the trail. Continue walking for another 30-45 minutes, and you'll arrive at Mount Nyle. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

• Horse Riding

  If you prefer a more leisurely pace, consider renting a horse from one of the stables near the Mall Road. After renting a horse, follow the same route towards Pindi Point. The horse will take you along the trail, making the journey easier. The horse ride will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to reach the viewpoint near Mount Nyle, where you can dismount and continue on foot. The final stretch to Mount Nyle is best done on foot, as the path can be narrow and steep. Ensure you have a guide if you are unfamiliar with the area.

• Trekking

  For those looking for an adventurous trek, you can start from the Patriata (New Murree) area. Take a chairlift to the top of Patriata and then follow the trail from there. The trek to Mount Nyle will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Follow the signs that lead towards Mount Nyle, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way. Make sure you are prepared with appropriate gear and supplies, as this route can be more challenging.
