Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Head towards Neelum Valley via the Neelum Road. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Sharda. From Sharda, continue driving for about 20 kilometers to reach Kel. Once you arrive in Kel, navigate to the Kel Waterfall which is located at R8C3+32P, approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the town center. Make sure to follow the local signs towards the waterfall.

Public Transportation

To reach Kel by public transport, take a bus or a shared taxi from Muzaffarabad to Sharda. The fare is usually around PKR 300-500 per person. Upon reaching Sharda, you can catch a local jeep or a shared taxi to Kel, which will cost you about PKR 200-300. Once in Kel, head towards the waterfall location at R8C3+32P. It is a short walk from the main road, and you can ask locals for directions.

Hiking

For adventurous travelers, once you reach Kel, you can hike to the waterfall. Start from the center of Kel and take the trail leading towards the waterfall. The hike is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 30-45 minutes. Ensure you wear good hiking shoes and carry water as the trail can be steep and rocky.
