Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Gilgit city. From Gilgit, take the Naltar Valley road, which is well-marked and about 40 kilometers long. The road can be rough, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain. After reaching the Naltar Valley, continue until you reach the Naltar village. From Naltar, the Blue Lake is approximately a 30-minute drive. Note that you may need a local 4x4 vehicle to navigate the last stretch of the journey, as the road can be challenging.

Public Transportation (Bus/Van)
From Gilgit city, you can take a local bus or van heading towards Naltar Valley. Public transport is available at the Gilgit bus terminal. Make sure to clarify with the driver that you want to go to Naltar. The fare is usually around PKR 200-300. Once you reach Naltar village, you can hire a local jeep to take you to Blue Lake, which will cost around PKR 1500-2000. The journey from Naltar village to Blue Lake takes about 30 minutes.
