    From the center of Airai, head east towards the main road. Walk along the main road, which is known as the Airport Road (also called Route 1) heading towards Ngerulmud. Continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a left turn onto the Ngerulmud Road. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Palau National Capital. The entrance will be on your right, and you will arrive at the capital, located at GJ2F+6PG, Ngerulmud, Melekeok.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Airai. Start by heading east towards Airport Road (Route 1). Follow the same route as for walking: cycle along Airport Road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, turn left onto Ngerulmud Road. Continue biking for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the signs for Palau National Capital. The entrance will be on your right.

  • Public Transportation

    To use public transportation, find a local bus that operates in the Airai area. Confirm with the bus driver or schedule that the bus goes towards Ngerulmud. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop closest to the Ngerulmud Road junction. Disembark and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Ngerulmud Road heading towards the capital. Look for signs directing you to Palau National Capital on your right.
