    From the center of Ngatpang, start by heading southeast towards the main road. Follow the road signs that direct you towards Melekeok. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left fork at this junction, which leads directly to Ngerulmud. After about 15 more minutes of walking, you will see signs for Palau National Capital. The capital is located on your right, at the address GJ2F+6PG, Ngerulmud, Melekeok, Palau.

  • Bicycling

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Ngatpang community center and head towards the main road. Cycle southeast for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the split in the road. At the split, take the left fork and continue cycling for an additional 1 kilometer. Look for signs directing you to Ngerulmud. The Palau National Capital will be on your right after about 5 minutes of cycling down this road.

  • Hiking

    For those looking for a more adventurous route, you can hike from Ngatpang towards Melekeok. Begin your hike by following the natural trails southeast until you reach the main road. Once on the road, continue for about 2 kilometers until you hit the junction. Take the left fork and proceed for another 1.5 kilometers. You’ll see the Ngerulmud signs. After a total of about 1 hour of hiking, you will arrive at Palau National Capital on your right.
