Walking
From the central part of Portobelo, head towards the main road (Carretera Panamericana). Walk west along the road until you reach the intersection where the road forks. Take the left fork, which will lead you towards the direction of Colón. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. You will pass local shops and eateries along the way, which can be useful for refreshments. After 20 minutes of walking, you will see the Puente Atlántico ahead. Follow the signs directing to the bridge.
