From the Goroka Main Market, head south on Tusbab Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Goroka to Kainantu Highway. Turn left onto the highway and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see the JK McCarthy Museum on your right, just past the Goroka Police Station.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Goroka Main Market. Start by cycling south on Tusbab Road and keep going straight for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the Goroka to Kainantu Highway, turn left and continue for another 300 meters. The JK McCarthy Museum will be on your right, just past the Goroka Police Station.
