From the center of Kavieng, head east on the main road (Hagen Street) towards the waterfront. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the junction with Nago Street. Turn left onto Nago Street and follow it as it curves around towards the coast. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see Nago Beach on your right. Look for a small path leading down to the beach.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kavieng. Start at the main square and cycle east along Hagen Street toward the waterfront. Continue on Hagen Street, then make a left onto Nago Street. Cycle down Nago Street for about 1.5 km, and you will find Nago Beach on your right. There should be a path leading down to the beach.
Public Transport (Bus)
Locate the nearest bus stop in Kavieng. Take a local bus heading towards the east coast. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Nago Beach. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, look for the signs directing you to Nago Beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Motorbike Taxi
Find a motorbike taxi in Kavieng. Negotiate a fare with the driver and ask to be taken to Nago Beach. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, the driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach, and you may need to walk a short distance to reach the sandy shoreline.
