Walking
If you are starting from Lae city center, head southeast on Independence Drive towards the waterfront. Follow the road along the Esplanade for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Moitaka Street. Continue on the Esplanade, and you will start to see signs directing you towards DCA Lookout. The path will gradually incline, and you will have views of the harbor to your left. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the entrance of DCA Lookout, which is located at 7252+R72, The Esplanade.

Public Transport
From a central location in Lae, such as the Lae Central Market, you can take a local bus or a PMV (public motor vehicle) heading towards the Esplanade. Ask the driver to drop you off at the main junction near the waterfront. Once you get off, walk towards the Esplanade, heading southeast. Follow the Esplanade for approximately 1 kilometer, and look for the signs pointing to DCA Lookout. The lookout will be on your left, with a well-marked entrance.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Lae city center and head southeast on Independence Drive. Continue towards the waterfront, then merge onto the Esplanade. You will ride along the waterfront, enjoying the coastal views. After about 1.5 kilometers, keep an eye out for the signs towards DCA Lookout on your left. The path is relatively flat, making it a comfortable ride.
