Walking
If you are in the center of Areguá, start at Plaza de Areguá. Head south on Calle Juan E. O'Leary, which is a main street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Hermanas Dominicas. Turn left onto Hermanas Dominicas and follow it for approximately 300 meters. You will see a sign for Playa Municipal on your right. The entrance is just ahead, and you will find the park area with access to the beach.
Public Transport
From the center of Areguá, you can take a local bus heading towards the 'Hermanas Dominicas' stop. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal near Plaza de Areguá. Once on the bus, ensure to inform the driver that you are going to Playa Municipal. After about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the Hermanas Dominicas stop. Walk approximately 200 meters towards the lake, and you will see the entrance to Playa Municipal on your left.
