Car
From the main entrance of Cerro Cora National Park, head southwest on Ruta 5. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for 'Cerro Acahay' and 'Camino al Mirador del Cerro Acahay'. Turn right onto Cam. al Mirador del Cerro Acahay. Continue on this road for about 5 km, where you will reach the parking area near the trailhead for Cerro Acahay. Parking is free.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Asunción to Pedro Juan Caballero, which frequently runs from the central bus station in Asunción. The fare is approximately 50,000 PYG. Once you arrive in Pedro Juan Caballero, catch a local taxi or rideshare to 'Cerro Cora National Park'. The taxi fare will be around 30,000 PYG. Upon arriving at the park, proceed to the main entrance and follow the same directions as for car access: head southwest on Ruta 5, turn right onto Cam. al Mirador del Cerro Acahay, and continue for about 5 km to the parking area.
