Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Asunción. Take the Route 3 (Ruta 3) heading northeast towards San Lorenzo. Continue on Ruta 3 until you reach the junction with Route 1 (Ruta 1). Take the exit onto Ruta 1 and follow it until you reach the town of San José de los Arroyos. Once in San José de los Arroyos, look for the coordinates G7W5+69G, which is the location of Paracau. The total drive is approximately 150 kilometers and may take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic conditions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Paracau using public transportation, you can take a bus from Asunción to San José de los Arroyos. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus de Asunción). Look for buses heading to San José de los Arroyos, and the ticket price is usually around 15,000 to 25,000 PYG (Paraguayan Guaraní). The bus journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the San José de los Arroyos bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or walk to the coordinates G7W5+69G for Paracau.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route after arriving in San José de los Arroyos via bus, you can hire a local taxi. Taxis are available at the bus terminal; the fare to Paracau should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around 30,000 to 50,000 PYG for the short trip. Make sure to confirm the exact location with the driver by providing the address G7W5+69G.
