From the city of Posadas, Argentina, follow Route 12 south until you reach the town of Puerto Iguazú. The drive should take around 3 hours (approximately 300 km). Parking is available at the entrance to the falls, but there is an entrance fee of around 800 ARS (Argentine Pesos) for adults.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Posadas to Puerto Iguazú. Buses leave from the main terminal in Posadas, and the journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Puerto Iguazú, you can take a local taxi or shuttle to the entrance of Iguazu Falls. The bus fare is approximately 200 ARS. Alternatively, if traveling from Asunción, Paraguay, you can take a bus to Ciudad del Este and then transfer to another bus heading to Puerto Iguazú.
