Travel Guide to Límite Cordillera-Caaguazú-San Pedro

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the center of San Pedro, head south on Ruta 3 (also known as Ruta Transchaco) for about 20 kilometers. You will pass through the small village of San Pedro del Ycuamandiyú. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Ruta 10. Turn left onto Ruta 10 and follow the signs toward Caaguazú. After approximately 15 kilometers, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to 2C3P+366, which is the location of Límite Cordillera-Caaguazú-San Pedro. The site is near the border of the three departments and will be on your right.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in San Pedro. Look for buses heading to Caaguazú; these are frequent, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the intersection of Ruta 10. Once you get off, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along Ruta 10 heading toward the direction of Cordillera. Keep an eye out for the landmarks or locals who can assist you in finding the Límite Cordillera-Caaguazú-San Pedro location.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous travelers, consider cycling to Límite Cordillera-Caaguazú-San Pedro. Start from the center of San Pedro and take the same route as if you were driving, heading south on Ruta 3. This will be approximately a 35-kilometer ride, so ensure you are prepared with enough water and snacks. The route is mostly flat but be cautious of traffic, especially on the busier roads.
