After approximately 15-20 minutes of driving, you will reach a designated parking area near the base of Cerro Peró. From the parking area, it is a short hike to the summit.
Public Transportation

To reach Cerro Peró via public transportation, first take a bus to the nearest town, which is around 20 km from Cerro Cora National Park. Buses run frequently, and tickets typically cost around 10,000 PYG. Once you arrive in the town, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guided tour van to take you to the park. Expect to pay around 50,000 PYG for the taxi ride to the park entrance. After entering the park, you can either hike to the base of Cerro Peró or seek a local guide who can assist you with transportation within the park.
