Car
From any point in Allegheny National Forest, head southeast on PA-36 S. Continue on PA-36 S for approximately 30 miles. Turn left onto US-22 E and drive for about 12 miles. Take the exit toward Gallitzin and merge onto PA-53 S. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Federal Park Rd. Follow this road for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site at 110 Federal Park Rd, Gallitzin, PA 16641. There are no entrance fees for the site.
