    If you are starting from the heart of Allegheny National Forest, head south on PA-949 S. Continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with US-62 S. Turn right onto US-62 S and follow it for about 10 miles. As you approach Oil City, take the exit for Oil City and merge onto PA-8 S. Follow this road for a couple of miles until you arrive in downtown Oil City, where you will find the Oil Region National Heritage Area.
