Car
From your location in Pennsylvania, head towards U.S. Route 1 South. Follow signs for U.S. 1 and merge onto it. Continue on U.S. 1 for about 20 miles. Take exit 57 for PA-52 S toward Kennett Square. After exiting, continue straight on PA-52 S for approximately 4 miles. Turn left onto Longwood Road, and Longwood Gardens will be on your right at 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $10.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a SEPTA train from your nearest station to West Chester or Philadelphia. If you are in West Chester, you can take the Route 104 Bus towards Kennett Square. If you're coming from Philadelphia, take the Regional Rail to Media, then transfer to the Route 104 Bus. The bus will drop you off at a stop close to Longwood Gardens. From there, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. Be aware that bus fares are typically around $2.50 each way.
