If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Harrisburg. Take I-83 N toward New York. After about 3 miles, take exit 43B for US-11 N toward Lemoyne. Continue on US-11 N for approximately 2 miles. Once you reach Lemoyne, turn right onto Indiana Ave. Fort Couch will be located at the corner of Indiana Ave. and N 8th St, Lemoyne, PA 17043. Parking is available on the street.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus route 7 from Harrisburg downtown. The bus will take you to Lemoyne. Ensure to check the current schedule as it may vary. After arriving in Lemoyne, disembark at the nearest stop and walk towards Indiana Ave. and N 8th St. Fort Couch is located at the corner of these streets. A bus fare will typically be around $2.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike in Harrisburg and take the Capital Greenway toward Lemoyne. Follow the trail, which leads you along the river. After reaching Lemoyne, navigate to Indiana Ave. and N 8th St. Fort Couch is at the corner. Make sure to wear a helmet and check for bike rental availability and costs, which can range from $10 to $20 for a few hours.
Walking
If you are close to Lemoyne and prefer walking, you can start from the downtown area. Walk north on N 3rd St until you reach the intersection with Hummel Ave. Turn right and continue on Hummel Ave until you reach N 8th St. Turn left and walk until you reach Indiana Ave. Fort Couch will be located at the corner. This route is roughly a mile and should take about 20-25 minutes on foot.
