Car
If you're driving from downtown Delaware Valley, start by getting onto US-202 N. Follow US-202 N for about 8 miles. Take the exit toward PA-1 S/US-322 E and merge onto US-322 E. Continue on US-322 E for approximately 3.5 miles, then take the exit toward Chadds Ford. Merge onto Creek Road and follow it for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Brandywine Drive, and you will see the Gideon Gilpin House on your right. There is free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Gideon Gilpin House using public transportation, take the SEPTA bus route 113 from the Delaware Valley Transit Center. The bus will take you to the Chadds Ford stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to the house. Exit the bus and head southeast on Creek Road for about 0.7 miles until you reach Brandywine Drive. Turn left onto Brandywine Drive, and the Gideon Gilpin House will be on your right. Note that the bus fare is approximately $2.50 each way.

For those who prefer biking, start at the Brandywine River Trail in Delaware Valley. Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection with US-1.
