Getting There

  • Car

    From Dutch Country, head east on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) towards Lancaster. Continue on Route 30 until you merge onto US-222 N toward Reading. Follow US-222 N and merge onto I-76 E (Pennsylvania Turnpike). Keep left to continue on I-76 E for about 40 miles. Take exit 340 for I-476 S toward Philadelphia. Merge onto I-476 S and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 16 for I-76 E toward Camden. Stay on I-76 E for about 7 miles. Take exit 40 for Montgomery Dr toward Fairmount Park. Continue on Montgomery Dr and follow the signs; Please Touch Museum will be on your left at 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131. Keep in mind there may be tolls along I-76.

    From Dutch Country, take a local bus to Lancaster Station. From Lancaster, you can take the Amtrak train to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. Once you arrive at 30th Street Station, transfer to the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line and travel to 69th Street Terminal. From there, take the 21 bus towards 69th & Lansdowne to reach the Please Touch Museum, located at 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131. Be sure to check the local schedules for bus and train timings, as they may vary.
