From Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center, head south on Taneytown Road (Route 134) for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Waterworks Road. Continue on Waterworks Road for about 1.2 miles. The Sachs Covered Bridge will be on your right. There is free parking available near the bridge.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Gettysburg Shuttle Service from the Visitor Center. Request a stop at the nearest drop-off point to Waterworks Road; however, the shuttle may not go directly to the bridge. Be sure to confirm the shuttle's schedule in advance, as it may vary. Once you get off, walk approximately 0.5 miles along Waterworks Road to reach the bridge. There are no fees for the shuttle, but check for any updates on operating times.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Gettysburg. Head south from the Visitor Center on Taneytown Road, then turn left onto Waterworks Road.
