From downtown Happy Valley, head southeast on E College Ave/PA-26 S. Follow PA-26 S for approximately 14 miles. Turn left onto PA-305 E and continue for about 7 miles. You will see signs for Penn-Roosevelt State Park. Turn left onto the park entrance road, which will lead you directly to the park's main area. There is no entry fee to access the park.

To reach Penn-Roosevelt State Park via public transportation, first take a Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) bus from downtown Happy Valley to the nearest bus transfer point at the Nittany Mall. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (Uber/Lyft) to the park, as public transportation does not directly service the park. The distance from Nittany Mall to the park is approximately 20 miles, and taxi fares can cost around $30 to $50 depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider biking to Penn-Roosevelt State Park. Start on E College Ave and head southeast. Continue on PA-26 S for about 14 miles.
